Co-Artistic Director of l'Ultime Tyme, presenter during Plumes et paroles & leader of Sluice.Trevor Murphy contains multitudes. Whether as the founder of the boutique record label Acadian Embassy, the leader of bands such as Sluice and Quiet Parade, manager of the Acadian punks Peanut Butter Sunday, an award-winning publicist, a radio host, or a respected behind the scenes player throughout Nova Scotia's culture sector, he acts as a consistent champion for the outsider. Leaning on almost 20 years of experience in the music industry, Murphy strives to promote artists (particularly those from the East Coast) with a dedicated DIY attitude and a staunch alternative spirit.

During the Congrès mondial acadien, he wears many hats acting as both an artist and a communications expert. In addition to performing with his Acadian powerpop band Sluice (named after the Par-en-Bas village Sluice Point) and offering a presentation right before the on the making of the group's latest album, Archiviste, he is the co-artistic director for l'Ultime Tyme and the CMA's publicist / deputy communications director.
