In Acadian villages, râpure (aka rappie pie) is a traditional dish typically served at family and community gatherings. Every râpure is a little bit different, but it is always plentiful, nourishing and comforting. It is a dish that brings people together to celebrate, to connect (and sometimes re-connect), and to share news around the table.
With this electronic newsletter, named after this important cultural symbol, we’re inviting Acadians from all over the world to our table here in Southwest Nova Scotia.
