My name is Patrick Duffy. I am a native of Saulnierville Station. I am a volunteer at CIFA Community Radio. My interests are varied: working with wood, carving wood, reading, and being a big sports fan. My beginnings in writing poetry began when my younger sister, who wanted to help her children with their French school work, announced to me: “We are going to take a French course together.” This course reintroduced me to the beauty of the French language. My imagination did the rest. Writing poems for me is an adventure in the natural, imaginary, past, future, or other world because nothing is out of context. Many have told me not to waste this talent that I have found, which can bring pleasure or relief at critical moments.
