Just turned thirty, Julie Frigault is blazing her own trail in Acadie. She chooses not to choose and embraces a career that suits her: artist-director of artistic shorts, artist-musician agent, cultural project manager or artistic director? She's all at once, and each mission feeds on the previous ones.
Julie has a keen eye for the world around her. She has tamed the geographical contours of her Acadia, choosing between rural northern New Brunswick, Moncton and Lafayette, Louisiana, where she grew up. This blend of cultures is reflected in the choices she makes in her artistic direction: expect a program that's impossible to sum up, curious, impertinent and committed.
Committed, because Julie carries with her an imposing baggage of values that help shape a modern, visionary and uncomplicated Acadie.
