Isabelle Cyr, multidisciplinary artist, winner of the Prix Éloizes, Artiste en musique en Acadie 2020 is also an actress, producer and director. As a composer, she contributed to the piano albums for Centre Philou (Félix for best instrumental album of the year). In 2010, she and Yves Marchand created the show Pays d'abondance, which has since toured Canada, France and Turkey with great success. In 2012, she took part in the Duos Improbables album (duet with Paul Piché). In 2019, she released her second solo album, Brûle sur mes lèvres, to critical acclaim. Her virtual show Sous les yeux d'une lune, as well as her Slam, Acadie, ma langue, mon pays, were presented as part of the Mois de la Francophonie 2021 via Le CFDA and La Délégation Générale du Québec à Mexico. In 2022, Isabelle Cyr and Yves Marchand are nominated for the Prix Gémeaux for the music of the documentary film, Les Femmes capitaines. She also became artistic director of Les Éloizes, and starred in Racines, diaspora et guerre (winner of 125 international awards), for which the duo also composed the music. Also known as an actress (Chambres en ville, Karmina, STATa), she returns to the small screen in the series En résidence à Unis TV automne 2024. As a singer-songwriter, she is currently working on her next solo album.
