After 35 years of teaching, Clara has become a bilingual storyteller. Although for a long time she had only her classrooms as an audience, since 2004 she has invested heavily in other venues. Her years of teaching and childhood memories feed her stories, which are full of authenticity and humor, not forgetting the creativity that often surprises audiences. Her repertoire includes fairy tales and legends, but above all tales of life, both funny and serious.

Clara has performed in New Brunswick, South Carolina and Quebec: Sherbrooke, Quebec City, Montreal, Valcourt, Abitibi, Îles de la Madeleine and Lévis. She's been to Saint Pierre-Miquelon, Poitiers and Picardie, France, as well as to schools in Lunenburg County and Halifax County to tell and teach stories. And of course in her favorite spot, Baie Sainte-Marie at the Festival de la Parole de la Baie. In 2014 Clara was a recipient of the TD Children's Book Week.
