Christiane Thériault has been passionate about dance from an early age. She began dancing at the age of 3 at Anne-Marie Comeau's dance school, where she received training in tap, jazz, lyrical and jig. For 6 years, she was a member of the La Baie en Joie troupe, where she developed her skills and passion for dance.
In 1997, she successfully completed Level 4 with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing and the Canadian Association of Teachers of Dancing, and was certified as a traditional dance teacher by the British Association of Teachers of Dancing in 2008.
Christiane was also an original member of the group Grand Dérangement for 10 years. As co-choreographer of La Baie en Joie since 1998, she has contributed to the creation of numerous dance shows. She has also participated in several dance productions produced by Charelle Thibault and danced with the Three Sides Collective dance company in 2020.
Among her notable achievements, Christiane was co-choreographer and dancer for the shows "L'Acadie, un pays qui se raconte" in 2016, and "La grande tablée" at Akadie Lumina, Bouctouche, in 2023.
Alongside her dance career, Christiane has also been a dance teacher at the Helena dance school since 2020. She received her bachelor's degree from Université Sainte-Anne in 2004, and also earned diplomas in makeup artistry in 2008, esthetics in 2010, and massage therapy in 2015. In 2015, she became the owner of Dans l'Anse Massage Therapy and Esthetic, where she uses her skills in massage therapy and esthetics to offer quality services to her community.
