Coordinator of the CMA 2024 Young Artists' Residency
A well-known playwright, director and theater director in French-Canadian and Quebec circles, Anne-Marie has worked with passion in the performing arts for many years. Acadian from New Brunswick, trained in theater and literature at the University of Ottawa, then specialized in directing at the National Theater School (2003), she works straddling several geographic and cultural territories. She directed the Trillium Theater in Ottawa from 2008 to 2016. In 2018, she accompanied (with Amélie Bergeron) the Franco-Canadian artist incubator Expanding artistic horizons at Zones Théâtrales and at the Carrefour international de Québec. She works as a visiting professor at the University of Ottawa (2019 and 2020). In 2023, she will accompany a writing residency at L’Abbaye St-Peters in Saskatchewan. She regularly gives advanced training in theater creation as well as dramaturgical support.Artists
