Co-Artistic Director & Co-Host of the National Acadian Day ConcertAnika Lirette is a theater and cinema artist. She appeared in a few series such as Newbies, then she played in the theater in Winslow with the Théâtre l'Escaouette and Huit femmes with the Théâtre Populaire d'Acadie. In addition, she was an assistant director for the show Tout simply country this spring with Connections Productions. She has also been the artistic director of the summer season with the Société Promotion Grand-Pré for the last three years. She devotes herself to creation by being either in front of the camera as with the role of Stéphanie in the Clan broadcast on Radio-Canada or behind it by being an assistant director on the TV series Belle-Baie. She has written and directed documentaries with Phare-Est Médias and the National Film Board of Canada. She participated in several web capsules either with Expérience Acadie or with the Center de la francophonie, which took her to Costa Rica, New York, Maine and Louisiana. In the theater, she has performed in Montreal, Louisiana, Germany, Maine, several places in Quebec, Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon and almost everywhere in Acadie.
