Painter, writer, storyteller and actress.
Anne LeBlanc was born in Concessions, Baie Sainte-Marie, and she is firmly anchored in her Acadian culture. She is a wife, mother and grandmother.
Since 2000, she has followed various painting, writing, storytelling and project administration workshops. Anne also works in schools as a storyteller, workshop facilitator and theater facilitator. She writes plays, as well as playing the role of “Magitte” in their presentations, for the Festival acadien de Clare and others. Another of her characters, “Delbine” went to Ottawa in June 2017 to make a presentation for the FAAFC.
In 2014, she illustrated a book “ABC Acadie” which was launched at the Congrès mondial acadien in New Brunswick.
Anne now works for Le Regroupement des aînés de la Nouvelle-Écosse as a project coordinator. She always has several projects in progress and in her words, “These keep me excited about life, which is important for living life to the fullest.”
