Artists
André-Carl Vachon
Teacher, author, lecturer in Acadian history and certified master genealogist, André-Carl Vachon has written eleven books on Acadian history which have earned him several prizes and distinctions, notably the Acadie-Québec prize in 2015, the Medal of Morne-Rouge, in Martinique, in 2017, and the France-Acadie Prize 2018. In addition, he was honorary president of the 30th edition of the Dieppe Book Fair, in New Brunswick, in 2020. In July 2024, he celebrates the 10th anniversary of the publication of his first book.
