Émilie Caissie
Representative of the Société nationale de l’Acadie (as an ex officio observer, with the right to speak)

A young community leader, Émilie is a versatile professional with strong expertise in communication, events management and strategic leadership. Her passion for the Francophonie and Acadie guide her engagement at the Société Nationale de l’Acadie (SNA), where she works steadfastly to promote values and defend interests.

Her range of expertise allows her to excel in various aspects of her work. 

Émilie is the acting executive director of the SNA, where she has been working for more than seven years. In her work, she has had the opportunity to collaborate closely with organizations, governments and international organizations such as the IOF and UNESCO. She also sits on the Organizing Committee of the Congrès mondial acadien 2024 and coordinates regional, national and international missions. 

She also has significant experience as a public relations officer with the Office of the Leader of the Official Opposition at the Parliament of Canada. Before this, she worked in economic and community development as well as in municipal government. 

She graduated in public relations from Collège La Cité and holds a certificate in social media management and a certificate in non-profit management. 

As a volunteer, Émilie has served on various boards of directors, notably on those of the Deux milles de natation, Codiac FM and The World's Most Beautiful Bays - Chaleur Bay. 

Her community engagement and varied skills make her a leading figure in the promotion and development of Acadian and francophone culture.
