The Congrès mondial acadien 2024 (CMA) partners with the Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse (CDÉNÉ) to present the Economic Forum - a conference focused on the subject of the economy that brings together specialists, policy makers, entrepreneurs and civil society actors from l’Acadie and abroad.

Presenting as its theme Sustainable development - a lever for the economic prosperity of l'Acadie : local, national and international perspectives, the event offers opportunities for networking, exhibitions of ongoing projects, and exploration of partnerships between participants and speakers.

The main objective of the Economic Forum is to explore the synergies between sustainable development, economic growth and in Acadie, Canada, and elsewhere in the world, and to identify and support concrete actions for a sustainable future.

“We no longer have a choice. We must find a way to meet our current needs without further compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs,” explains Kenneth Deveau, Executive Director of the CDÉNÉ. “Bringing together business people, influencers, and decision-makers from around the world, CMA 2024 offers an excellent opportunity to build connections, exchange ideas, and explore solutions around sustainable development – a subject that concerns us all.”

More details about the Economic Forum, including specific conference dates, speakers, and activities, will be announced in the coming months.
