Presenting as its theme Sustainable development - a lever for the economic prosperity of l'Acadie : local, national and international perspectives, the event offers opportunities for networking, exhibitions of ongoing projects, and exploration of partnerships between participants and speakers.
The main objective of the Economic Forum is to explore the synergies between sustainable development, economic growth and in Acadie, Canada, and elsewhere in the world, and to identify and support concrete actions for a sustainable future.

We must find a way to meet our current needs without further compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs,” explains Kenneth Deveau, Executive Director of the CDÉNÉ. “Bringing together business people, influencers, and decision-makers from around the world, CMA 2024 offers an excellent opportunity to build connections, exchange ideas, and explore solutions around sustainable development – a subject that concerns us all.”

LOCAL PARTNERSHIPS - CO-BRANDS FOR CMA 2024
In an effort to promote local entrepreneurs in the host region, the CMA 2024 unveils partnerships with several companies to launch official products and merchandise in association with the Congrès mondial acadien 2024. West Pubnico distillery Boatskeg Distilling Co., Corberrie cidery Corberrie Cider Company, and Yarmouth microbreweries Rudder’s Brew Pub and Heritage Brewing Co. are among the first of these co-brands to be announced. Canned beverages including the event’s logo and CMA 2024-related creative designs are set to be launched in the coming months.
This type of initiative is directly aligned with one of the strategic objectives of the CMA, which is to contribute to the development of the host region and to use the event’s platforms to promote, expand, and increase the visibility of local companies on the world stage.
Working in direct collaboration with local businesses on these initiatives over the course of the next year helps solidify an influx of economic impact in the host region all while showcasing and promoting stellar local products on a global stage.

The Congrès mondial acadien is also partnering with East Coast Lifestyle as one of the official suppliers of CMA 2024 merchandise. Hoodies, hats, and t-shirts are available now by visiting the offices in both Tusket and Meteghan. More designs – as well as an online store that will be available on the CMA website – will be unveiled in the coming months.
The Congrès mondial acadien 2024 recognizes the financial contribution of the Government of Canada, the province of Nova Scotia, and the municipalities of Clare and Argyle.
